Dallas Arboretum :: 8525 Garland Road, Dallas 75218. Open 9:00 a.m. –5:00 p.m, daily through November 5. Cost: $20 per adult; $12 per child (ages two – 12); under two are free; parking, $10.
Preston Trail Farms Big Orange Pumpkin Farm:: 15102 TX-289, Gunter 75078. Open daily through November 22, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Cost: $12 per person, Monday – Friday; $15 per person on weekends; children under two are free. Entry fee includes feed for the petting barn, a hayride, one pie pumpkin (on week days), and a train ride (on weekends).
Barton Farms Pumpkin Patch :: 5320 Old Highway 6, Van Alstyne 75495. Weekends only, from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 12:30 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Cost: $12 per person; children under two are free.
Hall’s Pumpkin Farm and Corn Maze :: 3420 Hall Johnson Road, Grapevine 76051. Closed every Monday and Tuesday (except Halloween). Open: Wednesday – Thursday, 3:00 – 8:00 p.m.; Friday, 3:00 – 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.; Sunday, 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. Cost varies by day ($5 – $15); ages three and under are always free.
