Father’s Day Gift Guide for the Texan Dad

grilling sausages, father's day gifts DallasFather’s Day is upon us, and it’s the perfect day to spoil the men in our lives. My husband is absolutely amazing with our sassy little toddler, and I am so thankful for all that he does. He also knocked it out of the park for Mother’s Day this year, so he definitely deserves something special. I’ve put together a few Father’s Day gift ideas, and I would love to hear your recommendations as well!

For the Guy Who Loves Whataburger

For the guy who loves Whataburger and/or fun t-shirts, check out WhataDad items like tees, Yeti products, socks, hats, and more. Tumbleweed TexStyles is a local store in Frisco that has tons of additional gift ideas.

For the Guy Who Has Everything

For the guy who has everything, try out a Bespoke Post subscription box. Take a short survey, and they will create a themed collection of items that ship straight to your door. Past boxes have included cocktail ingredients, beer brewing kits, and items to make a gourmet caprese salad! You can easily skip months and boxes are just $49 for members.

For the Music Lover

Is he a music lover? Get him tickets to a concert for a band he loves at a local venue and plan a whole evening with him (or enlist a friend who also enjoys that music). One year, I got my husband really good seats to see Iron Maiden, and one of his good friends went with him. Search Ticketmaster to see what’s coming up in our area!

For the Guy Who Grills

Summer is perfect for grilling, so this is a great time to get that favorite guy in your life some new grilling tools, a personalized cutting board or apron, even a new grill if you’re looking to splurge!

Feeling Sentimental?

An adorable idea to do with the kids is to have them each hold a letter spelling out D-A-D, G-R-A-N-D-P-A, etc. in front of a local Dallas spot, take a picture, and frame it! Only one kid? Just take multiple pictures to spell out your word. More unique gift ideas for the guys in your life!

Hopefully these ideas have helped make planning easier for the father or father figure in your life. If all else fails, pick up some donuts and his favorite beer or take him out for a nice steak dinner.

Lorynn moved to Texas sight unseen shortly after meeting her husband on a blind date in Florida. She is a local musician with a wide range of musical interests from Jewel to Johnny Cash, and she adores a good coffee shop. She is also the mom of a sassy toddler girl that has endless energy and no concept of personal space. There is also a pug named Wasabi in the mix, so dog parks and walks are frequently on the schedule. When she’s got free time, you can find her saving Cricut tutorials, watching The Home Edit, or hiding in her car while scrolling through Instagram reels.
