Ding, ding, ding! It’s tea time! Collin County has MANY tea experiences. I am a tea enthusiast and am thrilled to share a tea list so long you won’t ever get bored.

There are tea houses, tea rooms, tea bars, bubble tea cafes, tea shops, traditional afternoon tea, bubble tea, loose-leaf tea, tea lattes, and of course, in its own Texas category, sweet tea.

Bubble tea is gaining incredible popularity in Collin County. This trendy, more casual tea is also called boba tea. To my understanding, bubble tea and boba tea can be used interchangeably. The “bubbles” are tapioca balls. It’s a fun concept — sip the drink and chew on the tapioca!

Note: It can be easy to choke on the tapioca balls given the slippery texture, so this drink is not recommended for young children.
