Easy Gift Ideas from Trader Joe’s

One of my favorite things to do is put together simple gifts and goodies for the people in my life. It brings me an immense amount of joy and happiness. Who doesn’t love a little treat or pick-me-up from a friend? This week I was wandering the aisles of Trader Joe’s (which has a solid spot in my top five, or maybe even top three, stores) and perusing their new seasonal items. Whether it’s teacher gifts, birthday goodies for friends, special treats for family members, there’s something for pretty much everyone! And best of all, you can typically put together a little package for just about $5 (and stay tuned to the end of this post for my very favorite addition that is only 99 CENTS!)

On this particular trip, I picked up some items to put together three gifts “just for fun” fall gifts! I like to stick to a simple formula of one food item and one nonfood item. I think it’s the perfect balance of a fun treat and something else that maybe lasts a little longer or is more unique!

First up, this gift allows its recipient to steal away a few minutes of rejuvenation and have a yummy snack (perfect for us moms!). This face mask is only $1.99 and it’s hard to eat just a couple of those strawberry licorice twists.

I love a seasonal gift, because then the recipient can feel a little festive without a lot of extra effort. These cinnamon whisks from Trader Joe’s right now smell AMAZING (if you like cinnamon). Combine that scent with the smell of the pumpkin bread baking and it is a straight-up fall paradise for the lucky person to receive this treat.

Trader Joe’s is known for their affordable (and beautiful!) flowers. I also really love their small plants that are available. At $2.99 this little cutie and a bag of chocolate (or your recipient’s favorite candy) is the perfect combo. A treat to enjoy now and one to last a bit longer.

More Faves From Trader Joe’s

I can’t wait to give these little beauties out to some friends in my life. As mentioned, doing small things like this brings me so much happiness. It’s a little way to sometimes get outside my own head and bring a little sunshine into the lives of others, thus not only brightening someone else’s day, but it’s likely to brighten mine as well.

And last but not least, my favorite gift addition from Trader Joe’s…the CARDS. They are only 99 CENTS. And they are beautiful and adorable and I love them so. I pick up two or three every time I go so I have a nice little collection for almost any occasion.

And of course, if you don’t live close to a Trader Joe’s you could put together a similar gift from nearly any grocery store. We are moving into the holiday season and these ideas would be perfect for any person who you’d like to give a little something too. But in my book, any day is the perfect day for one of these surprises!
