Some pediatrician offices have weekend hours, often limited to same-day sick visits. Call your pediatrician’s office to see what they offer.

Pediatric Urgent Care Clinics vs Pediatric Emergency Rooms

Urgent care clinic visits are cheaper and faster than emergency room visits. Even insurance co-pays are very likely to be lower for an urgent care clinic than an emergency room.

For a non-life-threatening illness or a minor incident, think urgent care clinic. If your child is experiencing a life-threatening situation, serious or sudden medical condition, or trauma, call 9-1-1 or safely visit an emergency room. Pediatric Urgent Care Clinics in Collin County 

Take heart, mamas: Pediatric urgent care clinics are open when you need them.

Each of the following urgent care clinics is open on Saturdays, Sundays, and all holidays! For holidays, the hours are whatever they would be for that day of the week. Each of these clinics also accepts some insurance plans.

Note: Legacy operates as a hybrid for emergency services and urgent care services. However, as the locations are not part of hospitals, it is listed under urgent care clinics. The clinics are open 24-seven, however, it bills as an urgent care or emergency facility based on the hour(s) treatment is received. Urgent care billing hours are 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. every day (including weekends). Hours served outside of these times are billed as emergency room services. All holidays are billed as emergency room services as well.

  • Urgent Care for Kids :: Frisco, Plano, McKinney :: Monday – Friday 12:00 – 9:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • NightHawk Pediatric Urgent Care :: Wylie :: Monday – Friday 3:00 – 9:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
