And believe it or not, many schools and businesses are already prepared for when you ask that question, “What are we going to do this summer?”  Summer Camp information has been released and many places are already accepting registration forms and applications. 

To help you out, Collin County Moms Blog is thrilled to launch an in-depth guide to local summer camps for children of all ages.

At Lionheart Children’s Academy we are passionate about early education and equipping kids to be world changers, while supporting working parents who need quality, affordable care and education for their children! Our summer club recognizes the challenge working parents face to find a program that keeps their children safe and engaged. We offer that and so much more.

We provide flexible options for summer, which include part- and full-time care for children six weeks to 12 years. Our summer club, the Pride, is a program for children who have completed kindergarten through age 12 that includes field trips, daily devotions, sports and team building activities and community outreach projects. Our program also offers academic enrichment activities that keeps skills fresh and ready for the school year. With four locations throughout Collin County, there’s a location near you.

iD Tech

Now Enrolling!

At iD Tech, students ages 7-19 learn to code, design video games, produce videos, design Fortnite-inspired levels, mod Minecraft, create with Roblox, engineer robots, model and print 3D characters, work with AI and machine learning, build laptops, learn about cybersecurity, and more! Weeklong, day and overnight summer programs that instill in-demand skills and embolden students to shape the future. iD Tech Camps (weeklong, co-ed, 7-17), Alexa Café (weeklong, all-girls, 10-15), iD Tech Academies (2-week, teen-only, 13-18).

Adventure for the City is coming to Stonebriar the week of July 22-26! This is a day camp led by Camp Eagle staff on our campus for entering 1st through entering 4th graders. The fun begins at 8 am each morning. Adventure for the City campers will experience just about everything Camp Eagle has to offer – from rock climbing to archery tag to soaking-wet water activities – supervised by the world’s most energetic counselors. For one week, they’ll worship with friends, explore God’s unchanging Word and learn what it means to be a kid who follows Christ. The day ends at 4:30 pm with free time and parent pick-up.

BRICKS 4 KIDZ

Bricks 4 Kidz offers Holiday and Summer camps in Frisco, Prosper, Plano, and Dallas. We offer a great opportunity for STEAM learning through building models with LEGO®️ bricks. We follow step-by-step plans to create motorized models and then exercise our students’ creativity with building challenges, crafts, and games. We extend that learning with older campers with Jr. Robotics and EV3 Robotics camps.Our 1/2 day or full day camps are perfect for kids ages 5-12. Our camps are great for boys and girls who love to build with LEGO®️ bricks.

CADENCE ACADEMY

WORLD ODYSSEY SUMMER ADVENTURE is open to children 6 – 12 years old. Adventurers will embark on a virtual journey around the world and enjoy culture, history, famous sights, food, national sports and more!

SPCA OF TEXAS

SPCA of Texas Critter Camp is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about important values such as kindness and love. Critter Camp sessions are for children between the ages of 8-11. Each weekly session takes from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We do not offer refunds at this time. Our Summer weekly camp is $295 this includes an SPCA of Texas Critter Camp shirt. Extras can be purchased during registration.

T Bar M Camps :: Camp is one of the most lasting, rewarding experiences parents can give their children. At T Bar M, it builds self-esteem and gives kids a sense of independence all while growing their faith. From overnight camp for 1st through 11th graders, to Day Camp for K-5th graders, we love to give campers and families the experience of their lives.

YMCA Camp Twin Lakes :: YMCA Camp Twin Lakes offers week-long and mini overnight summer camp. Join the YMCA for 6 weeks of Full Overnight Camp in 2017. Children’s Learning Adventure – McKinney :: Children’s Learning Adventure (CLA) offers the highest-quality infant, toddler, preschool and pre-kindergarten, before and after school, holiday and summer camp programs for ages six weeks to 13 years old. Children’s Learning Adventure’s STEAM-based curriculum ensures daily exposure to science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics through a multiple learning environments approach. In addition to a primary homeroom, CLA provides daily small group instruction in specialty classrooms to provide authentic learning activities. Students will apply the knowledge they learned in homeroom in specialty classrooms, such as practicing math skills by measuring ingredients in a culinary class.

Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary :: The Heard’s mission is to inspire children to discover, enjoy, experience, and restore our priceless environment. Heard Summer Camps will feature opportunities to delve into the wonders of nature on our 289-acre sanctuary, encounter animal ambassadors, investigate nature-themed topics, and more. 

North Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation :: To introduce kids to the game of golf, the Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation teams up with local golf courses and facilities to conduct week-long summer golf camps.  Kids learn full swing fundamentals, putting, chipping, bunker play, rules, etiquette and safety.

SPCA of Texas :: SPCA of Texas Critter Camp is a wonderful opportunity for children ages 8-11 to learn about important values such as kindness and love.
