spring break camps plano frisco mckinneySpring break is on the horizon, y’all: March 9-13, 2020. And we’ve whipped up a guide to the best Collin County Spring Break Camps in the area. They generally fill up pretty quickly, so don’t delay!

NOTE: Some of these camps are weeklong, some are by-the-day, etc., so be sure to look closely at the details when you register.

Infinite Bounds is a Gymnastics Training Center, and their spring break camp includes tumbling, gymnastics, trampoline, cheerleading, games, arts and crafts, and more. You can sign up for the whole week or for individual days. REGISTER HERE.

HOURS: 9am-2pm
Extended Hours: 8am-5pm

COST: $40 per day;
Early drop-off, add $5 per day;
After hours care, add $15 per day.


PSA Plano (PSA1) has a ton of different spring break camp options. Their Sports Camps include all the mainstream sports, martial arts, and dance. Enrichment Camps include arts & crafts, science, and chess camps. The doc at the link is kind of overloaded with info; here’s a Camp FAQ if you need guidance. Basically you can do a Flexi Pass (includes lunch and snack), which allows kids to do a variety of sports and games/activities over a full day, or choose a half-day Sports Camp or Enrichment Camp on a specific topic. HOURS: Dates and times vary by camp, but hours of operation are 9am-4pm. Early care is available from 7:30-9am. After care is available from 4-6pm.

COST: $45 per day for Flexi Pass;

You can add a “Finish the Day” Flexi Pass Add-On after a Sports or Enrichment Camp for $28 per day;
Before/After Care, add $14 per day.

Pipe & Palette offers a full-day spring break camp teaching your growing artist sculpture, drawing, watercolor and painting. REGISTER HERE.

Extra Innings offers an all-skills camp for the baseball and softball lovers. Hitting, throwing, defense, base running, pitching, and FUNdamentals. North Texas Performing Arts (NTPA) PLANO Creativity Camp is an art & drama camp themed around popular children’s stories. Starcatchers is a program for children with special needs and they’ll have a camp option this week, too. Each day, students will actively bring a different story to life through visual and performing arts. {Visual arts include painting, pottery, mixed media, cartooning, sculpture, drawing, collage, and printing. Performing arts include story dramatization, improvisation, theatre games, movement, and pantomime.} Morning, afternoon, and full-day options. REGISTER HERE.

AGES: K-5th grade

WOGA Plano Spring Break Camp provides gymnastic training from experienced coaches, tumbling, trampoline, games, arts and crafts and other activities for boys and girls. Half-day and full-day options available. Full-day campers should bring a lunch. All campers will be provided with a drink and snack daily. REGISTER HERE.

Canyons Climbing Gym gives kids a chance to climb rock walls and participate in activities with other young climbers while under the instruction of camp leaders. Wear comfy clothing, and closed-toe shoes. All gear is included in the camp price. Pack a snack, or give your camper a few dollars to buy snacks at the gym. REGISTER HERE.

Young Chefs Academy offers cooking camps on the art of cooking and the science of baking. This week campers will work on a rainbow of sweet and savory recipes with secret ingredients and lots of hands on fun! REGISTER HERE.

HOURS: Choose either 9am-12pm or 2-5pm

COST: $250 for the week or $60 per day


Sci-Tech Discovery Center explores a different STEM-themed topic each day, previewing the 2020 summer camp experiments and builds. Kids are divided by age group: 1st-2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade, and 5th-8th grade. Within those groups, classes will be divided into younger and older grade groups for different experiments and builds. REGISTER HERE.

FC Dallas Spring Break Mini-Camps at Toyota Soccer Center are for kids of all ages and skill levels to develop technical skills the FC Dallas way, under the instruction of FC Dallas coaches. Heard Museum Spring Break Mini-Camps explore a different topic each day. Camps include indoor activities and time outside exploring the 289-acre sanctuary. Apex Center Spring Break Camp in McKinney is an adventure-filled week of swimming, crafts, games, scavenger hunts, and more. There’s also a field trip to Obstacle Warrior Kids during the week. REGISTER HERE.

HOURS: 8am-5pm. Early care from 7-8am; after care from 5-6pm.

COST: $280 for non-members; $200 for members. Early care and late care are an additional $25 per week, each.

Single-day registration will be available beginning March 9. Cost is $50 per day for members and $70 per day for non-members.


Woodhaven Stable in Allen offers horseback riding camp for boys and girls with daily instruction on proper horse safety, tacking, horse care, and daily riding in covered arenas. There will be a Friday demonstration for friends and family to come see the kids ride. Here’s a Camp Checklist, so you’ll know what to bring (sack lunch, etc.).
