Romantic Getaways Around the U.S.

Savannah

Fall in love all over again as you stroll down the charming streets of Savannah, Georgia. Walk hand-in-hand down the tree-lined cobblestone streets and take in the historic sites, Spanish moss, and waterfront architecture that make up this eclectic town. Stay at a romantic inn or rent a house in the historic district. The food scene in Savannah is amazing—treat yourself to some date nights, Southern comfort style!

Napa & Sonoma

I can’t imagine there’s a couples’ vacation bucket list out there that doesn’t have Napa or Sonoma on it. What’s more romantic than sipping wine with your honey while overlooking a lush wine country landscape and enjoying year-round gorgeous weather? Book a bed & breakfast with a fireplace in the room for that extra touch.

New Orleans

While the first thing that may come to your mind when you thjink New Orleans is Bourbon Street, it’s actually a very romantic city, as well. New Orleans is filled with historic architecture, live jazz music, and delicious Cajun cuisine. Cruise the Mississippi River in a steamboat and take in the beautiful city while enjoying a local cocktail and some jazz. We even have, courtesy of New Orleans Mom, a list of free (or almost free) date night ideas once you arrive!

Park City

Whether you’re a skier or not, you can’t deny the beauty that surrounds Park City, Utah. Rent one of the colorful downtown cabins or ski-in/ski-out lodges along the mountains of Deer Valley. The romantic snow-blanketed views are breathtaking. This is the perfect place to cozy up with your partner by the fire with a hot toddy in hand!

Tucson

Get away from the cold winter months by visiting Tucson: Explore a culturally significant downtown or head north to the resort-flocked Catalina Foothills. The foothills of Tucson flourish with unique architecture, great shopping, award-winning restaurants and world-renowned resorts, spas, and golfing. Though it’s home to over 500,000 people, this romantic destination is a place where you and your loved one can slow down and enjoy many picturesque sunsets.

Lake Tahoe

Straddling both California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe has something for everyone. You can ski, gamble, hike, visit a hot spring, or just marvel at the beauty of it all. While it is a year-round destination, it really comes to life in the winter. There’s something so romantic about experiencing the white snow during the day, then warming up by a cozy fire at night.

Miami

If you’re looking for a steamy and adventurous getaway with your partner, Miami is the place for you. It’s got beautiful people, the beach, rooftop bars and pools, exciting food, and bumping night clubs.

Stowe

Stowe, Vermont, is both laid-back and luxurious at the same time. It’s a resort town that’s breathtakingly beautiful year-round. Mount Mansfield is the highest point in Vermont and brings with it a plethora of outdoor activities, including hiking and skiing. The town is bustling with activity: arts and crafts fairs, museums and galleries, and a thriving arts scene. Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast, or just want a change of scenery, the picturesque Stowe is a perfect couple’s getaway.

Broken Bow

A quick three hours from Collin County, Broken Bow will make you feel like you are a world away. Rent a cabin in Beavers Bend and relax amongst the trees and sounds of nature. Take a romantic horseback ride together or go fishing or hiking in this beautiful part of the country. It’s a quick getaway that will help you recharge and focus on each other.

Eureka Springs

Located in the Ozark Mountains in NW Arkansas, Eureka Springs offers all the things you look for in a romantic getaway, plus some activities that are a little different! Go on a ghost tour, view the Christ of the Ozarks statue, and visit the big cat refuge. Book a treehouse cottage for an even more unique and memorable stay.
