This cake is spongy with a soft spice flavor. It is a warm and wonderful feeling to share with family and friends around the table or perhaps treat yo’self with a good book with this seasonal treat.

In the Kitchen with Kids :: Apple Cider Donut Cake Recipe

Combine in a medium bowl:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp baking powder

Combine in a large bowl:

  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil

Add to sugar mixture:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes.

Remember to spray and flour your bundt pan so the cake doesn’t stick like mine!

Grease that bundt pan completely

The kitchen is where memories are made! I love including Caleb’s friends, testing out new recipes and watching the reactions, and seeing what they come up with!

Kids love adding their creative twists

Delicious! I love being in the kitchen with kids.

Enjoy!
