The Texas Pool is a 168,000-gallon saltwater pool in Plano, shaped like Texas! It features a diving board, two slides, one-foot wading area, “Dallas-Fort Worth” center island, water and sand volleyball, loungers, private cabanas, BBQ grills, and a toddler play area. The pool is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Visitors (including mermaids with tails) are welcome to swim for the day, or sign up for the season. Parties and private event rentals are available!

Flower Mound C.A.C. Pool and Water Park :: 1200 Gerault Road :: Lap lane and open swim hours vary by day. (See website for swim times.) Admission: $4 – $6 (youth) and $6 – $8 (adults) for daily passes. Monthly and annual memberships are also available (more info here).
Frisco Water Park :: 5828 Nancy Jane Lane :: Open Memorial Day – Labor Day. Hours vary by day and season (see website). Admission fee: $65 (resident) or $95 (non-resident). Passes are also available.
The Cove :: 417 Lakefront Drive :: Open season is May 19 – September 4. Hours: Monday – Friday, 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Sunday, 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. Daily admission: $14 – $18, and children under two years old are free. Summer passes and memberships are also available.
Villages of Melissa Community Pool :: 3410 Wysong Street :: For residents of Villages of Melissa.
Jack Carter Pool :: 2601 Pleasant Valley Drive :: Open for the season May 27! Hours: Sunday – Monday, 12:00 – 6:00 p.m.; Tuesday/Thursday – Saturday, 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. Closed on Wednesdays. Admission: ages three – 15 years, $5 (resident) and $8 (non-resident); ages 16 and older, $9 (resident) and $13 (non-resident).
Plano Aquatic Center :: 2301 Westside Drive :: Pool is open for the summer season! (See website for daily hours.) Admission: ages three and up, $3 (resident) and $5 (non-resident). Children under age three may swim for free.

Tom Muehlenbeck Recreation Center :: 5801 West Parker Road :: Open for the season May 27. Hours: times vary by lap swim and leisure swim. (See website for details.) Admission: ages three – 15 , $3 (resident) and $5 (non-resident); ages 16 and older, $6 (resident) and $9 (non-resident).
Apex Center :: 3003 Alma Road :: Open for the summer through August 8! Non-Member Hours: Monday – Friday, 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, 12:00 – 6:30 p.m. Sunday, 12:00 – 5:30 p.m. Day Pass Admission: Youth & Senior (ages 3 – 17, 60+) $10 per person (resident), $15 (non-resident); Adults (ages 18 – 59) $15 resident, $20 (non-resident); Family Day Pass $35 (residents), $50 (non-residents). Memberships are also available.
