Collin County is one of the fastest growing areas in the United States with almost 73 new people moving into the county every day! Each week, we see a large number of questions coming in from families looking to move into the area — asking important questions about the suburbs in Collin County. Which areas have the best schools? What suburb has the most development? Where can I buy land? Are there parks near the homes?

While we’re happy to answer these questions personally, we decided to put our research into a few guides that would help incoming families get to know the various suburbs in and around Collin County!

:: Introducing Suburb Snapshots ::

We hope these guides will be helpful as you begin researching the various suburbs of Collin County as each are very different and unique! Each of these guides was written by a Collin County writer who lives or works in the area to provide you with a more overall picture of what each neighborhood looks like.

And of course, we invite you to join our hyperlocal Neighborhood Groups if you’re new to the area and ask more of those important questions of other local moms — Who’s your favorite pediatrician in the area? Where do you find childcare? When’s the next playdate?!
