Summertime is quickly approaching and now is the time when parents are anxiously scrolling through guides and resources looking for the perfect summer camp that will help develop interests and spur excitement. Somewhere between the summer camps, family reunions, and work schedules, a real family vacation can be squeezed in.

This summer, there’s one summer camp that can be BOTH!

Graceland‘s Performing Arts Camp is the perfect summer getaway for the whole family! Campers can follow in the footsteps of Elvis Presley and learn all about singing, acting, and dancing, while parents explore Memphis, relax by the pool at The Guest House at Graceland and enjoy Graceland Archives presentations and tours. The camp offers a unique experience for kids – and a fun vacation for the entire family.

You can select between July 10-14 (exclusively for kids ages 13-17) OR July 17-21 (for kids ages 6-16). We know these are big age ranges, but don’t worry! Each camp has instruction segmented by age.

This is a one-of-a-kind experience for the entire family as kids and teens have the unique opportunity to perform live on stage at Graceland.

Whether your child is new to the arts or has lots of experience, there’s something for everyone to learn at Graceland Performing Arts Camp. Participants will explore their creativity in workshops on acting, singing and dancing taught by local and Broadway professionals; including special guest counselor Reagan Strange, who was recently featured on season 15 of “The Voice” as a contestant on Team Adam.

Over the four days of activities, campers will develop a showcase, culminating in an evening performance on stage at The Guest House Theater for family and friends on Saturday night.

In addition to their classes, each camper will follow in the footsteps of Elvis Presley throughout their stay, as they explore the Graceland campus, tour Elvis’ legendary home, and learn how he became one of the greatest entertainers of all time – in the studio, on stage, and on the big screen.

While campers are having fun during the day, parents and other family members will keep busy with Graceland activities, including Graceland Archives presentations and tours, shuttle transportation to other Memphis attractions, and relaxing poolside at The Guest House, before reuniting with their children in the evening for family dinners and activities.

  •  Four nights’ hotel accommodations at AAA-rated Four Diamond luxury resort The Guest House at Graceland in a standard guest room

Through a happy coincidence, she stumbled upon (what was then known as) Dallas Moms Blog in 2012 and found a community she’d been looking for since coming a mom. Shortly after joining the team, she gratefully accepted the “baton” passed to her as new owner of the site, and took off with it running full speed! Krystal not only helped to grow Dallas Moms into a large parenting resource, but also launched Collin County Moms in 2016; providing those in the north Dallas suburbs their community resource platform. While building a community, uniting the moms, and growing a business around this passion was a dream come true, after almost 10 years, Krystal officially stepped down as owner, and is now focusing on raising her 4 boys with her husband, Tim, and rediscovering old hobbies.
