Gettin’ Cozy with McCafe’s Peppermint Mocha

Lunch Bunch and this post have been sponsored by McDonald's of North Texas & Moroch. All opinions are 100% our own!

On November 4, Collin County Moms Blog & Dallas Moms Blog partnered with McDonald’s of North Texas to bring a fun, family-friendly event to celebrate the upcoming season!

Representatives from McDonald’s at the Richardson location (Belt Line & Plano) were so friendly and welcoming to all of the families who attended. To start, we were all able to try the return of McCafe’s Peppermint Mocha.

That’s right! It’s back — and just in time for this chilly weather. This is a cozy peppermint mocha made with espresso beans that are sustainably sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms, steamed whole or nonfat milk, peppermint chocolate syrup, and topped with whipped topping and chocolate drizzle.

Once the parents were able to enjoy a few samples, McDonald’s provided a variety of activities for kids to enjoy like coloring sheets and finger puppets, too.

After everyone had a full belly, a colorful face from the face painter, and a new Mylar friend with the help of the balloon artist in their favorite shape, the children were given swag bags stuffed to the brim with fun toys and fun swag for parents, too! Plus, each child was also so excited to pick out their very own pumpkin to take home and add to the fall decor around their homes.

A big thank you to McDonald’s of North Texas for providing such a fun Lunch Bunch experience for our families and helping introduce our moms to a delicious new coffee craving. Whether it’s the hot Peppermint Mocha or a refreshing Iced Peppermint Mocha, you’ll never have to worry about how often you indulge. McDonald’s offers any small McCafé specialty beverage, including Peppermint Mocha, for $2 as part of the $1 $2 $3 Dollar Menu at participating restaurants.

Krystal is a Dallas-native who began her career as a fourth grade teacher in Richardson RISD, but quickly changed paths to became a stay-at-home mom in 2011. Through a happy coincidence, she stumbled upon (what was then known as) Dallas Moms Blog in 2012 and found a community she’d been looking for since coming a mom. Shortly after joining the team, she gratefully accepted the “baton” passed to her as new owner of the site, and took off with it running full speed! Krystal not only helped to grow Dallas Moms into a large parenting resource, but also launched Collin County Moms in 2016; providing those in the north Dallas suburbs their community resource platform. While building a community, uniting the moms, and growing a business around this passion was a dream come true, after almost 10 years, Krystal officially stepped down as owner, and is now focusing on raising her 4 boys with her husband, Tim, and rediscovering old hobbies.
