Mom-Friendly Swimsuits for Your Hot Mom Summer

The summer season and I have a love-hate relationship; I love the long nights and relaxed vibes summer time brings. But I hate the heat and the expectation to look “summer cute.” However, THIS summer will be different: I’m vaxxed, waxed, and ready to conquer summer!

After having two kids, my body is not the same, but I’m not gonna hide under coverups or in the shade anymore. I am going to slather on the SPF and take this summer by storm. If quarantine taught me anything, it’s that life is too short and to live life to the fullest. With that mindset, I wanted to list my go-to swimsuits that make me feel and look good!

Favorite mom-friendly swimsuits

aerie

Yes, this Geriatric Millennial shops at Aerie! Aerie has a wide variety of cute and mom- friendly swimsuits. I bought several suits from aerie and they became my new favorites and the only ones I wore my entire beach trip.

Target

The always reliable Target is the perfect place to find everything from itsy bitsy bikinis to long-sleeve rash guards. They all come at an affordable price point which makes it easy to get soo many options to mix and match.

Kortni Jeane

I have a slight obsession with Kortni Jeane swimsuits. They come in super cute colors, patterns, and designs. They offer a wide variety of sizes for every body type. My favorite thing about these swimsuits is that they offer men’s, kids’, and babies’ swimsuits so the whole family can match.

Swimsuits For All

Swimsuits for All is another new favorite of mine recently. This inclusive brand was made famous by supermodel Ashley Graham and offers swimsuits and coverups for women of every size, age, and body type. I love how this brand displays pictures of real women in their swimsuits and makes it relatable and approachable for all.

Every mom deserves to have the best summer ever. Take pride in your cellulite, wrinkles, and/or rolls, and embrace what your amazing body has done for you. Watch out world, hot mom summer is coming!
