With summer right around the corner, I’m ready to leave my sweats at home and get moving again. It can be hard trying to find time and energy to work out though, much less find childcare! Whether you’re newly postpartum or a seasoned mom of many, we all need to get away for our mental and physical health. Our kids need to see us taking care of ourselves, and childcare should not be a barrier.
The following fitness locations will get your heart pumping and brain releasing those good endorphins, but you can also rest assured that your babies are in good hands. They’ll likely benefit from their activity time as much as you! I hope one of these spots become a new favorite for you and your little one.

Frisco Athletic Center | Frisco
This is a family-focused athletic center with over 240 exercise machines, group exercise classes, an indoor aquatic center, two full-size gyms and more. They emphasize mindfulness, so I always leave feeling physically balanced and mentally refreshed. The Play Lounge is clean and inviting, perfect for littles. Make sure to book the Play Lounge in advance to reserve your child’s spot. It’s included in membership, or you can buy a single pass or package of 10.
The Barre Code | Plano
