In 2016, Collin County Moms Blog’s expanded off of Dallas Moms {formally Dallas Moms Blog} and set out on a mission to connect local moms online and in-person. We wanted to be a true parenting resource that provides diverse information and parenting perspectives unique to our North Texas community as we firmly believe that there is no one “right” way to be a mom in Collin County.

Over the last several years, we’ve turned into a team of thirty amazing, strong, and diverse women who share their expertise and positive stories. We’ve hosted several fun and rewarding events for families and moms, we share products and ideas regularly on our site and social media, we provide guides for local and traveling parents, and we connect local Moms far beyond our posts through neighborhood and community groups.

Just as we’ve grown and evolved over the last few years, it’s time to transform our name and website to reflect all that we desire to provide our community. A cleaner, easier to navigate, mobile-friendly website filled with familiar content, resources, and personal stories, but updated to include a new Calendar of Events.

While our updated look and feel may be different, we will always continue to grow with our original purpose in place: to connect and build our Collin County Moms community.

From a fourth grade teaching career in Richardson to managing a letterpress studio in the Design District of Dallas, Krystal finally found her calling with the not-so-simple life of motherhood. She’s been married for her best friend and husband, Tim, for 15 years and enjoys spending time with her sons, Mark (born March 2011), Zachary (born January 2013), Nathan (born October 2015), and Jake (born July 2018). When not devoting her time to Dallas Moms Blog and her family, she enjoys eating cheaply and traveling often!
