Fall 5Ks in Collin County (With Links to Sign Up!)

There’s nothing like the beginning of fall. The weather starts to get cooler, the leaves start to change colors, and we all get settled back into our routines. The autumn season always motivates me to get outside and get active. What better way to combine the two than an outdoor 5K?

Not only are 5Ks a great way to stay active, but they very often raise money and awareness for great causes.

I’ve compiled a list of upcoming 5Ks in Collin County this fall with something for everyone, whether you’re a beginner, an experienced runner, or just looking for something outdoors for the whole family to enjoy. I’ve also included links with more information and ways to sign up.

Jennifer Copeland
Jennifer is a native Texan and has called Collin County home for the past seven years. She is a proud wife and mom to Lilah (2018) and Luca (2020). They live in northeast McKinney and love the small town vibe while still being within 10 miles of Target and Trader Joe’s. She graduated from Texas A&M with a bachelor’s in dental hygiene. When she’s not brightening smiles, she enjoys exercising, writing, a good cup of coffee, and her guilty pleasure — jamming 2000s pop punk. On the weekends, you can catch her and her family spending as much time as possible outdoors. She has a passion for helping and relating to other moms through humor and loves to share her favorite local adventure spots.
