Summer is coming to a close and cooler weather is just around the corner. Though it may sound nice now, I dread the day that I discover that all of my kid’s clothing, jackets, and shoes from last winter are all too small. Don’t worry, fall consignment sales are coming soon! You can get a whole new wardrobe for your kids at a fraction of the price. Bonus: the majority of the money that you spend goes back to other moms!
There are many fall consignment sales in the area that typically occur once now and then once in the spring. Here’s your chance to stock up on everything you need for your kids this fall without breaking the bank!

Tips for Fall Consignment Sales
- Get there as early as you can!
- Bring a friend or parent to help divide and conquer.
- Bring a GIANT bag, wagon, or cart to carry your items.
- Try your best NOT to bring your kids with you. You’ll want to move quickly to get the best items and it will be crowded.
- Do you want to get in early? Consider volunteering or consigning some of your outgrown clothes and equipment for access to Presales.
- Come with a plan! If you need big items like strollers, car seats, or other equipment, make sure to check those areas first. (And bring a big enough car to take your finds home!)
